With the days of autumn officially in full swing, it's time to kick-off your bucket list of quintessential fall activities and sport our classic fall wardrobe staple: the Sawyer Shirt in Plaid.
We visited the apple orchard on a typical cool in the AM, warm in the PM fall day and I took along my Sawyer Shirt in Navy & Pine Plaid as a versatile layer to help combat the transition of temps.
While the air was still crisp, my plaid was layered over a simple white tee for extra warmth. It was cozy, festive, and practical at the same time.
The apple picking was good and as the day progressed the air started to heat up, so I shed my extra layer and tied the shirt around my waist.
Our Sawyer Shirt was specifically designed to be lightweight, so you get the look of a traditional flannel without the heaviness. Once the shirt was tied around my waist it stayed in place, never needed adjusting, and I forget it was even there.
With no bulk or extra weight hanging from my waist, I was still able to pick apples and chase my toddler hassle free.
A little fun "green" fact:
A blend of sustainable Certified Organic Cotton and TENCEL™ gives our plaid shirts a buttery soft and luxe feel, making them soft on mother nature and soft on you. The buttons are carved from corozo nuts, which are 100% natural and biodegradable.
When you wear one of our plaid shirts we guarantee it will bring you no-fuss effortless style, allowing you to really immerse yourself in all the fall festivals, football games, pumpkin carving, leaf peeping...or apple picking!
